The Arab Federation for Digital Economy (AFDE) announced a joint understanding with H3C Technologies, a Chinese company, on the sidelines of its participation in the Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China.
The meeting explored avenues for cooperation in developing digital infrastructure in Arab countries, including the potential establishment of advanced data centers capable of supporting artificial intelligence applications and smart services. Discussions also focused on knowledge transfer programs and building local capacities in this field.
Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Deputy Secretary-General of AFDE, emphasized that having national data infrastructure is a fundamental pillar for building an integrated digital economy in Arab countries.
Representatives of H3C expressed their interest in the Arab market and their readiness to provide technological solutions tailored to local requirements, supporting the region’s digital transformation journey.
This understanding reflects AFDE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships in the digital economy and expand collaboration with leading global companies specialized in smart infrastructure.
