The Arab Federation for Digital Economy discusses with the New Economy Academy in Dubai ways to cooperate on the Arab education platform

Within the framework of institutional cooperation in the field of digital education, a joint meeting was held between the Arab Federation for Digital Economy and the New Economy Academy, which is affiliated with the Dubai government, chaired by Dr. Laila Faridoun, President of the Academy, and attended by Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General, Dr. Hani Hossni Zurub, chief of Industry committee of the Federation, and representatives from both sides.

During the meeting, areas of joint cooperation in digital education and training were discussed, in order to support the transition towards a knowledge economy and build human capabilities, in light of the strategic directions aimed at developing future education systems.

The Arab Digital Education Platform was also reviewed, as one of the leading Arab initiatives in the field of digital education and training. The attendees discussed the developmental stages that the platform went through, its success in the pilot operation phase, and the readiness to move to the expanded operational phase at the level of Arab countries.

The Academy of New Economy expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Arab Federation for Digital Economy and participate in the platform by providing specialized educational programs in the fields of new economy, entrepreneurship, and digital economy concepts, in line with the Dubai government’s directions to support the knowledge economy and build human capabilities.
