The Arab Federation for Digital Economy holds a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Community Empowerment to support the digital transformation of civil society organizations in the UAE.

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy and the Ministry of Community Empowerment discussed ways to cooperate in the field of digital transformation for civil society organizations with the aim of developing the efficiency of institutional work, improving the quality of services, and supporting the digital sustainability of the civil sector.

 

This came during a joint meeting at the Ministry of Community Empowerment headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry, and from the Federation: Dr. Abdullah Al Darmaki, Deputy Secretary-General, Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General, and Dr. Hani Hosni, Chairman of the Industry Committee, where initiatives to employ digital solutions and modern technologies in supporting civil associations were reviewed.

 

The two sides discussed supporting digital transformation in civil society organizations, digital governance frameworks, and building technical capabilities and digital skills for employees, in line with the UAE’s directions in digital transformation and innovation.

 

The Union affirmed that this cooperation falls within the Arab vision for the digital economy, which aims to enable businesses and non-profit sectors to benefit from modern technologies to raise their operational efficiency and expand their developmental role, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development and digital inclusion.
