The Sheikh Zayed Book Award, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre in the United Arab Emirates, has announced the winners of its twentieth edition (2025–2026), which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.
The award, established in 2006, is one of the most prominent cultural awards in the Arab world, aiming to honor creators, thinkers and publishers, and to support the movement of authorship and translation, and the Arab cultural presence globally, through multiple branches covering literature, humanities and intellectual sciences.
This session comes as a continuation of the award’s journey since its establishment in 2006, as it has established its presence as one of the most prominent cultural awards in the Arab world and internationally, and has contributed to honoring creators and thinkers and supporting the movement of authorship and translation in the fields of literature and humanities.
In this context, the Arab Federation for Digital Economy expressed its sincere congratulations to His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Othman El-Khosht, former President of Cairo University, member of the General Assembly and advisor on digital education and scientific research at the Federation, and member of the Supreme Scientific Council of Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, on the occasion of his winning the award in the Manuscripts, Encyclopedias and Dictionaries category.
The Federation ffirmed that this achievement represents a qualitative addition to Dr. Al-Khasht’s scientific and intellectual career, and reflects his prominent contributions to the development of the fields of thought and scientific research, especially in their intersections with digital transformation and the knowledge economy.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Khouri, Advisor to the Council of Arab Economic Unity and President of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, expressed his sincere congratulations to His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohammed Othman Al-Khosht, stressing that this crowning demonstrates the academic and scientific standing and sound intellectual contributions of His Excellency Al-Khosht, and the depth and methodology of his scientific output, and its keeping pace with the requirements of the contemporary knowledge movement, expressing his confidence that His Excellency Al-Khosht’s contributions will continue to enrich human knowledge and consolidate the Arab presence in the international knowledge scene.
