The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy honored by presenting the “Golden Appreciation Shield” to the Federation of Arab Universities, in light of the existing cooperation between the two organizations, and the prominent role played by the Federation of Arab Universities in supporting and coordinating the efforts of Arab universities and developing the quality of education systems in the Arab region.

His Excellency Atef Helmy, President of the General Assembly of the Arab Union for Digital Economy, and His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Advisor to the Council of Economic Unity, President of the Arab Union for Digital Economy, member of the Executive Office of the Quality Union at the Arab League, handed the shield to His Excellency Dr. Amr Ezzat Salameh, former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Arab Egypt Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities.

The Arab Federation for the Digital Economy commended the distinguished role played by His Excellency Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, distinguished with his team, led the efforts of the Association of Arab Universities in consolidating international academic relations within an institutional framework that considers sustainability, joint work and the exchange of experiences with universities and academic and scientific institutions of prestigious regional and international standing.

The honoring came during the activities of the Digital Economy Technologies Conference (Seamless Middle East 2021), which will be held at the World Trade Center in Dubai and will run on September 29-30, 2021 under the auspices of the League of Arab States.
