The Arab Federation for Digital Economy presented a “Shield of Appreciation” to Mr. Wang Bo, Vice Mayor of Qingdao, China, for his efforts in supporting cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and Arab countries in the fields of the digital economy and technology transfer.

In the presence of His Excellency Hussain Al Hammadi, UAE Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, President of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, presented the shield during a meeting held as part of the China Investment Forum at the AIM Investment Summit, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from April 7 to 9, 2025.

This honor came as part of the two sides’ discussion of ways of cooperation between the Chinese city of Qingdao and the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, particularly in the areas of technology transfer, supporting digital transformation projects, and organizing specialized conferences and exhibitions in the Arab region.
