The delegation of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy to China, headed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Darmaki, Deputy Secretary-General of the Federation, and Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General, held a series of meetings in Shanghai with Mrs. Sharon Xia, Chief Financial Officer and Founding Partner of Jingping, a company specializing in e-commerce and digital platform management, in the presence of a number of the company’s officials and experts in technical and operational solutions.
The meetings focused on exploring investment and operational cooperation opportunities, and leveraging the company’s expertise in supporting and developing the Arab Food Market project, through the use of modern technologies in managing digital platforms and supply chains.
In this context, the Federation is working to coordinate efforts to develop an integrated digital infrastructure that serves e-commerce for the food sector and contributes to raising the efficiency of markets, which serves the interests of food security initiatives in the region, through international partnerships that allow the transfer and application of global expertise.
The discussions also addressed the development of advanced technologies that enable the connection of suppliers, buyers, and secure financial, logistical and funding services, which supports the revitalization of intra-regional trade in the food sector, benefiting from advanced experiences in the field of e-commerce and the management of digital platforms.
