The Arab Federation for Digital Economy signed a cooperation agreement with Xinchang County Gaochuang Holding Group Co., Ltd. in China, to develop robotic solutions tailored to the needs of Arab markets, within the framework of the Arab-Chinese cooperation program in the fields of digital economy and advanced technologies.
The agreement stipulates cooperation in developing robotics technologies, upgrading the research and development system, developing smart production lines, as well as designing robotic solutions that take into account the needs of the economic sectors in the Arab region, in order to serve the applications of industry, logistics, trade, and service sectors.

The agreement also includes cooperation in developing products based on artificial intelligence and robotics technologies, with a focus on adapting them to meet the requirements of Middle Eastern markets, and benefiting from Chinese expertise in this field.
His Excellency Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Khouri, President of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, confirmed that the agreement comes within the projects of the Arab Vision for Digital Economy, which was adopted at the Arab Summit in 2022, and forms part of the cooperation program that the Federation is working to implement with Chinese institutions in the fields of advanced technology.
He said the agreement aims to develop technological solutions based on the needs of Arab markets, and to benefit from Chinese industrial and research expertise, in order to contribute to knowledge transfer, the development of practical applications, and the building of Arab capabilities in the robotics sector.

He added that the Federation continues to work on building partnerships with specialized international institutions to link research and development outputs with economic applications, and to expand areas of cooperation in future technologies, in order to serve the development priorities of Arab countries.
The signing of the agreement comes as part of a series of agreements signed by the Arab Federation for Digital Economy during its visit to the People’s Republic of China, within the framework of implementing the Arab Vision for Digital Economy projects, and expanding partnerships with government agencies, universities, and Chinese companies.
