The Arab Federation for Digital Economy is discussing ways of cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in the Republic of Iraq

The Arab Federation for Digital Economy affiliated to the Council of Arab Economic Unity in the League of Arab States held a coordination meeting with stakeholders in the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in the Republic of Iraq, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Mukhtar Ghoneim, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, Eng. Mohsen Al-Hamid, Investment Advisor at the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, and representatives of both sides.

The meeting included discussing a number of important issues, on top of which were; Enhancing cooperation in implementing some of the initiatives emanating from the “Arab vision for the digital economy”, including the e-commerce project and the digital Arab food market platform, for the benefit of the Arab region.

 

The Iraqi delegation expressed its desire to cooperate, and the importance of integrating Iraqi companies in these projects and joining the Arab Union for the Digital Economy.

This meeting comes within the steps taken by the Arab Federation for Digital Economy to implement the “Arab Vision for the Digital Economy,” which was announced in Abu Dhabi at the end of 2018.
