The Arab Federation for Digital Economy delegation held a series of institutional and business meetings in Moscow with a number of leading Russian institutions and companies, as part of a visit aimed at opening new practical avenues for Arab-Russian cooperation in the fields of digital economy, artificial intelligence, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
The delegation began its meetings with a gathering at Business Russia, which, according to its representatives, comprises approximately 10,000 Russian companies, including some 800 specializing in information technology, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence. Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration in AI data centers, computing infrastructure, energy, and joint ventures and investments.

The delegation also visited the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where opportunities to expand trade and technological relations between Russian companies and Arab markets were discussed, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Walid Hamed Sheltag, Ambassador of the League of Arab States to Russia.

The meetings featured presentations by a number of Russian companies that reflected a wide diversity of technological capabilities available for cooperation with the Arab region, including communications infrastructure, satellites and submarine cables, data centers, video communications, business platforms and corporate communications, interoperability of artificial intelligence agents, cybersecurity, protection of critical infrastructure, and systems integration.
The discussions also revealed an interest on the Russian side in entering Arab markets through partnership models that combine Russian technological capabilities, investment and financing, and access to Arab markets and local expertise.
The results of the visit confirmed the existence of practical opportunities that can be developed in the fields of artificial intelligence, data centers, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and software, with the importance of moving in the next stage from getting acquainted and exchanging offers to identifying a number of feasible projects and partnerships.

These meetings represent a step towards building an institutional network for the Federation within the Russian market, taking advantage of the great diversity of Russian technical specializations and expertise, and linking the appropriate capabilities from them to the needs and priority projects in the Arab countries.
