The forum was launched under the slogan “Digital Sovereignty: From Resource to Export Asset” , with the participation of government officials, ministerial delegations and international technology leaders. The program included more than 60 sessions and workshops that addressed issues of artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, internet governance, smart cities and digital transformation in various sectors.

The high-level sessions saw the participation of Russian and international officials, including Dmitry Grigorenko, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government, who called for the development of a common international approach to regulating artificial intelligence, stressing Russia’s readiness to expand international cooperation and share its expertise in the field of digital transformation.

Bella Cherkesova, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, also confirmed that the forum represents a platform for international dialogue on emerging technological trends, noting that it is being held as part of Digital Solutions , the largest IT event in Russia, which is being held with the participation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

During its participation, the Federation‘s delegation was keen to follow up on new international trends in the areas of artificial intelligence governance, digital sovereignty, and technological infrastructure, and to benefit from them in developing the initiatives and projects led by the Federation to support the Arab digital economy.

The Federation‘s participation in the forum allows it to learn about international experiences in developing digital policies and artificial intelligence applications, and to follow trends related to transforming digital capabilities into economic and investment opportunities, which supports the Federation‘s directions in developing practical initiatives that contribute to the development of the Arab digital economy, and expanding areas of exchange of experiences with relevant international institutions.

This participation comes within the framework of the Federation’s direction to expand its international presence, build new bridges of cooperation with governmental and technological institutions in Russia and the Eurasian countries, and open direct channels for the transfer of knowledge and technology and linking international expertise with the developmental and digital needs in the Arab region.
